Historic Podium for Bangladesh: Arhaam Rahaman at the Malaysia Festival of Speed
Arhaam Rahaman and Kashfia Motaleb make history as the first Bangladeshi licensed drivers to secure podiums.

In a monumental achievement for Bangladeshi motorsports, ATXR Racing driver Arhaam Rahaman secured his first podium at the Malaysia Festival of Speed, held at the Sepang F1 Circuit in Kuala Lumpur from October 18th to 20th.
Making History on the International Stage
Representing Bangladesh at the prestigious Malaysia Festival of Speed, an international motorsports event hosted by the FIA ASN of Malaysia (MAM), Arhaam Rahaman achieved a historic milestone. Driving a Perodua Axia in the Auto Gymkhana discipline, Arhaam secured his first podium finish. This remarkable feat marks the very first podium for any Bangladeshi licensed driver on the international stage.
Arhaam competed fiercely against 26 male drivers in the Gymkhana event. Progressing through an intense knockout round, he ultimately secured a 3rd place finish on the podium against the Top 7 International Drivers.
A Double Celebration for Team Bangladesh
The success was shared with teammate Kashfia Motaleb. Kashfia delivered an impressive performance, finishing 4th out of 7 female drivers. Crucially, in the International category, she was classified as the winner against competitors from Thailand. Together, Arhaam and Kashfia jointly mark a new era as the first Bangladeshi race license holders to achieve international podiums.
Team Bangladesh was also represented by Fahad Gaffor, who competed in the Esports F4 category, further showcasing the nation's growing presence across multiple motorsport disciplines.
Looking Ahead to Valencia
Riding on the momentum of this historic success, the journey continues for these trailblazing drivers. Arhaam Rahaman and Kashfia Motaleb, along with other TBA Bangladeshi drivers, are now set to take part in the highly anticipated FIA Motorsports Games 2024 in Valencia, Spain.
