Arhaam Rahaman Returns to the Global Stage at FIA Motorsport Games 2024
Team Bangladesh brings a strong contingent to Valencia, featuring Auto Slalom, TCR, and Esports competitors.
Selected by the Automobile Association of Bangladesh, ATXR Racing driver Arhaam Rahaman is set to represent Bangladesh once again, this time in the Auto Slalom discipline at the highly anticipated FIA Motorsport Games 2024 held at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain.
A Legacy Continued
Arhaam Rahaman is no stranger to making history on the global stage. He first made headlines at the 2022 FIA Motorsport Games in Marseille, where he became the first-ever Bangladeshi to participate in an FIA-sanctioned race. Now, returning for the 2024 edition, he takes on a new challenge in the Auto Slalom discipline. While this will be his first official appearance in Auto Slalom, the discipline shares many technical similarities with Gymkhana, where Arhaam recently proved his mettle by securing a tough podium finish at the Malaysia Festival of Speed in Sepang just a few weeks ago.
A Stronger Team Bangladesh
Unlike his solitary journey in 2022, Arhaam will be part of a formidable Team Bangladesh contingent in Valencia. He will be teaming up in Auto Slalom with his regular Gymkhana teammate, Kashfia Motaleb, who also brings international podium experience.
The national team roster is further bolstered by veteran Bangladeshi driver Avik Anwar, who will be making his highly anticipated first appearance at the FIA Motorsport Games competing in the TCR discipline. Additionally, drivers Rahul and Fahad will represent the nation in the Esports categories, demonstrating Bangladesh's growing footprint across diverse motorsport disciplines.
